I have been homeschooled for my entire life. When I was in high school I saw a program that someone made on social media. Their program would take any txt file (or string) send that to anyone they wanted, one word at a time. After seeing it, I knew I wanted to replicate it. It took me a day or two since I was also learning Python for the first time, but I did it. Years later, though I was doing well in college I wasn't getting out of it what I wanted. During Christmas, my sister had been telling me about her job as a Software Engineer. It just sounded perfect for me, I had always loved programming I don't know I had never thought of it as a career before that point. After 6 months of self-learning and 4 more with App Academy, I have well over 1600 hours of coding under my belt. I'm excited to see what the future holds.
After a few weeks of preparation, I applied for App Academy. one of the most prestigious and difficult boot camps for software engineers. During that time, I logged over 1100 hours of coding as well as the completion of three projects.
if Me.check_if_programmer():
print('Spent years playing with Python')
if (Me.isProgrammer()) {
console.log("I have created multiple projects with Javascript")
}
if Me.programmer?
p "I have logged over 600 hours programming with ruby"
end
I've created varius projects using React as the frontend. I can use hooks as well as regular React.
